Report
The Fort Chaffee medical complex in Fort Smith, Arkansas is a large group of individual buildings joined together by a series of covered walkways/halls. The complex was originally built during WWII closed then re-opened during different periods as needed. These seemingly self contained areas complete with medical wards, lab, x-ray, surgery and jail in its 128 buildings is off limits to the public.
RVPRI along with investigators from NAGS, investigated the complex upon hearing a rumor that it is haunted and that there were people who were afraid to go into the complex. On our first investigation of the medical complex we set about trying to familiarize ourselves with the facility. The size of the complex made it difficult to investigate everything in one night. This building will require a return trip!
This area is extremely dangerous as the floors which are elevated are rotten and some doors will open to a drop of about 6 feet in some areas. At one point one investigators leg broke through the floor and just narrowly avoided real injury.
We carefully walked through the complex, using our flashlights a lot more than we normally do because of the condition of the building.
Long creepy hallways connected this sprawling complex together; this is probably my favorite aspect of the complex. You must be careful though because in some areas the floor is rotten and you can fall through. Tina was standing on a door and turned to help another investigator behind her. In doing this, she stepped off of the door and her leg went through the floor up to her thigh. She barely missed those nails that you see through the hole in the picture. It could have been a very bad night. Not a place you need to go alone, or without a medical kit. Kids will trespass on this site and go thrill seeking, not only is it against the law to go without permission it is also highly dangerous.
It was in one of these creepy hallways that we received the EVP’s asking for help. If we had we heard these while there we would have tried to help as best as we could by asking how we could help. These EVP’s are what convinced us we must return to this complex and continue investigating the medical complex.
We took many pictures throughout the night. It was in yet another hallway that we captured two very interesting pictures. We’re not sure what it is, but the second picture has even more.
The investigation was called off early due to the feeling that there were other people on the property with us and we weren’t sure of their intentions.

Danger lies ahead down this creepy hallway, it is here that we recieved our EVPs.

Another long creepy hallway, sometimes the floor would sag and dip.
Not sure what this is all about but it happened twice.
Here it is again. With something extra. Always interested in your opinion.
Had we heard this we sure would have tried.
We did not hear the first cry for help so I guess it just said it louder.
