The investigation itself was simple with the 4 camera DVR setup and facing the areas of interest, which seemed to center on the bedrooms and the chair area of the living room. We collected all our baseline instrument readings and logged them for future reference. The clients remained onsite as we investigated and were quiet and followed our directions without question or complaint. The clients had contacted us because the activity within their home was elevating to the point that the husband was getting scratched, they sent us pictures and claimed that they just appeared sometimes without provocation. At one time the husband said that there were no such things as ghosts to his kids and just after he said that he got scratched again, but this time in front of his family. There is a report of the bathroom door in the master bedroom opening by itself , the door at the time was rubbing on the door frame and therefore hard to open or close. We were also told by the clients that the children's bedroom closets had activity in them. One had an extreme cold spot experienced in it and the husband said that he was able to see his breath. The daughter also claims to see a little boy in her room and closet. The son's room has a closet that the light inside it will turn on/off, and the door will open/close by itself. One incident was told that inside the son's closet once was a man all in black and he was holding a hammer. This prompted us to consider this an investigation that could not wait. As investigations go this was a pretty active one. As we were investigating I had seen someone standing beside me to the right that I thought was Redd but he was sitting down about 8 feet away from me. As we were discussing the situation and our attention was on the area that I had seen the "person", the husband who was sitting in the chair across the room, had his hair pulled. The client claims that he had distinctly felt a hand grab his hair and pull. There were several visible experiences and a moment where I felt as if something laid across my body at elbow level while I sat in the same chair that the client's hair was pulled a few minutes earlier. Tina had seen a few times a low lying shadow that looked like a cat to her, later in the investigation the client had stated that sometimes she feels as if a cat would jump up onto their bed and looked to see nothing there. Several of us had seen what looked like a little child coming out of the hallway area away from the bedrooms and just disappear, also one of the claims the client had told us. This happened just behind our camera #1 which would on occasion "black out" or dim, this has never happened to us before. There was a moment while team members were downstairs that they had heard what sounded like a growl to them, this only happened the one time. Once we were all downstairs we heard a loud "clunk" type sound, Jennifer and I went back upstairs to investigate and we immediately seen abrupt movement first to our right and then to our left. We found no cause for the sound we had heard, but our camera's microphone did pick up the noise as it happened. No instrument anomalies were noted during our investigation, no temperature variances or EMF spikes.
Although our investigation did not produce a picture of the "hammer man" nor did we even get to see him, we believe that there is definitely paranormal activity within this home and it needs to be followed up. At the end of the investigation we cannot conclude whether or not the entity is malevolent in nature, but with the scratch attacks we must consider it as such. It is my hope to someday come back to this home and further our study in hopes of gathering even more data to support the clients claim and to better understand what is there.
One of the times the client was scratched this time on his elbow. These scratches have appeared on several areas on him.

In this picture we see the area that the "little child" shadow had been seen. It would come out of the hallway and up to the back side of the couch and just fade away.

It was in this chair that the client was sitting in that his hair was pulled. While Tina was sitting there we had noticed "movement" behind the chair, although we noticed nothing on video playback or in our photos.

Tina was seeing what looked like a cat walking in front of these stairs.

I asked if whatever was in the house could tell me it's name, I believe we get an answer here.
7 seconds into this recording there is an Uh Oh, that isn't any one of us. This was caught in the boys room.
It always bothers me when the answer is before the question.
Throughout the investigation there was a lot of EVP like this one 4 seconds in.
There was some video evidence that was caught during this investigation and I will upload it as soon as I can convert it to WMV from MOV.
